We met at a dance at Saltair in 1997. We dated a year before we were engaged, and were engaged for 14 months. We were married on the 2 year anniversary of our first date.

One of our favorite things about our wedding is the videographer we hired. We love our wedding video and the memories that he was able to capture. Many people do not think that a videographer is a necessity for their wedding, and we couldn't disagree more. It is our favorite part of our wedding memories!
We had a "Hometown Honeymoon" and stayed at East Canyon Resort for a week. We visited the Alpine Slide, Lagoon, and many other fun sites around Utah. The funniest thing about our honeymoon is that we forgot to pack shoes, so the morning after our wedding we drove to Payless Shoes in Sugarhouse and bought each of us a pair of shoes!

Below is a playlist of some of the songs used in the couple's wedding.
If the exact version is not available on playlist.com, then the closest version to the song is used.

This picture holds a lot of memories for us! Russ had a bad knee, and when our videographer asked him to pick me up, his knee almost went out, and he almost dropped me! Luckily he didn't, and we are here to tell this story!

My favorite flowers have always been wildflowers like Sunflowers, Daisies, Ivy, etc.
Our cake was supposed to have sunflowers on it, but the cake person messed up and accidentally put daisies. It looked much better than sunflowers would have anyway, and our day was not ruined.
Our advice to engaged couples? Don't worry about the small things, like what flowers are on your cake. Relax, enjoy your day, and celebrate your union!
