Logan and Kjersti

Married June 12th 2008
RoseSachs Gardens in Salt Lake City, UT
Photographer: Jonathan Glover

Logan and Kjersti were officially engaged on October 3rd, 2007, even though they both knew a lot sooner than that that they would be engaged. They both wanted to wait until they were at least 21 years old.

Kjersti and Logan say, "Just because you had your wedding doesn't mean that's the end of it! Being married lasts forever (well, ideally), and you have to work at it. Communication is really helpful!"

Ceremony Music:

Kjersti's "Kissing Ball Bouquet" weighed approximately 8 lbs, and when she was standing at the altar, the weight from the ball kept making the heels on her shoes sink into the grass!

Kjersti wore an antique hair comb with rhinestones that belonged to her Grandma. It was sparkly and elegant and looked amazing in all the photos!

Logan and Kjersti honeymooned in California. They went to Disneyland for the first time in both of their lives, stayed aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach, rode the ferris wheel on the Santa Monica pier, and many other memorable activites.

Kjersti advices other brides:
"Guys are a part of the big day too. Most guys actually want a say in the planning, and don't want shades of pink all over the place! Another tip that has always bothered me is that people tend to send out their wedding invitations kind of late. It's polite to give proper notice!"
